According to some people the best paying career for women are the same ones as that of men. But women can not take part in high paying careers such as professional NBA and NFL. Women currently occupy half the workforce of the working population. In a few families, women are the sole earners and have to make up for the entire expenses. Hence it is important for women to get work which is easy on the body and the mind and also high paying for women. It also has to be attractive in the sense than men are not vying, which makes the competition for the position little.
In a notional estimate, women earn 20% lesser than men in every family. This according to many statistics is fast reducing. This may not be because of women’s pay increasing, but the pay of men decreasing. What ever the case, it is quite unfair to know that women are not treated equally.
One of the highest paying jobs is that of Chief Executives of a company. This is a position that commands the highest pay. But currently only one quarter of the chief executive positions are occupied by women. Even after occupying this position, their incomes are still three quarter of the amount that their men counterparts earn annually.
Coming to attractive careers for women, it is found that a career of a pharmacists is on the top. Believe it or not, an average pharmacist out earns an average physician or a lawyer. This field has no retirement date unless you remember where you have kept what medicine and is poised to grow in the coming years. Another career option quite attractive for women is that of a computer programmer. This is one place that women and men are paid equally for the work they do.
